What You'll Need for your Peach Cinnamon Rolls

Scroll down to the recipe card below this post for ingredient quantities and full instructions.

    • Store bought cinnamon rolls in the tube. You can use any brand. I used the Pillsbury but I also like the Annie's brand because they are a good size and I like the ingredients list.
    • Heavy whipping cream. This is the secret ingredient that makes the rolls swell and gives it that homemade touch.
    • 1 can of sliced peaches - You can use fresh peaches or frozen peaches, but you may need to adjust the sugar to your taste.
    • Unsalted butter - Butter is going to help make these rolls gooey
    • Brown sugar - we'll add this to the peaches to create a delicious sauce.
    • Cinnamon - to enhance the flavor of the peaches.
    • Vanilla - a little vanilla to deepen the flavor profile.
    • A pinch of nutmeg  - optional, but it gives a lovely warm flavor.

How to make easy peach cinnamon rolls

    • Prep
Preheat your oven to 350°F . While it’s heating up, butter your baking dish. I recommend using an 8x8 inch pan, but if you want to make more rolls, go big with a 9x13.
    • Place the cinnamon rolls in a large baking pan and pour the heavy whipping cream over the rolls. Let this sit while you prepare your peaches.
    • Peach Filling - In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once it’s melted and bubbly, toss in those peach slices with the syrup. Stir in the brown sugar,  vanilla, cinnamon, and a pinch of nutmeg if you’re feeling fancy. Let everything simmer for about 5-7 minutes until the peaches are soft and the mixture is caramelized and smells like heaven.
    • Load  - Spoon a generous amount of the peach filling onto each roll, making sure to tuck some of the peaches into the rolls. Don’t worry if things get a little messy—brunch is supposed to be fun!
    • Bake to Perfection
If you have any leftover peach filling, save it to drizzle it on top for extra gooey goodness after the rolls bake. Bake for 30 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and your kitchen smells like a dream.
    • Ice Ice Baby
While the rolls are still warm, drizzle them with the icing that comes in the cinnamon roll tube.
    • Serve and Enjoy
These peach cinnamon rolls are best enjoyed warm, fresh out of the oven.

Frequently Asked Questions about Peach Cinnamon Rolls

    1. Can I use frozen peaches instead of fresh ones?
Absolutely! If you don’t have fresh peaches on hand, frozen ones will work just fine. Just make sure to thaw and drain them well before using them in the recipe.
    2. Can I prepare the rolls the night before?
Yes! You can prepare the rolls up until the baking step, cover them tightly, and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, just bake them as directed, adding a few extra minutes if needed.
    3. What if I don’t have nutmeg?
No worries! Nutmeg adds a nice depth of flavor, but if you don’t have it, you can skip it or add a pinch of ground ginger or allspice for a different twist.
    4. Can I add other fruits to the filling?
Definitely! This recipe is versatile. Try adding berries, apples, or even a handful of chopped nuts to the filling for a delicious variation.
    5. How do I store leftovers?
If you somehow manage to have leftovers, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days. You can also reheat them in the oven for a few minutes to enjoy them warm again.

This recipe is a total winner because it’s the perfect mix of sweet, spicy, and fruity. The Pillsbury cinnamon rolls make it super quick and easy, while the peaches add a homemade touch that feels like you put in way more effort than you actually did.

I made your recipe, and found it to be very good. However, some steps were missing, so I had to guess. Following your recipe, I buttered up the 8 x 8 baking dish, then it said to pour heavy whipping cream over the rolls. Ok, I guess I need to put the rolls into the dish. Now, how much whipping cream do I need. OOPS, wasn't mentioned in the list of Ingredients. So I just guessed at it. Then melted the butter, then Oh, I need a bowl to mix in the brown sugar, vanilla cinnamon? and a pinch of nutmeg. Let it simmer for 5 -7 minutes. Okey, I guess I was supposed to place over medium low heat and blend together. (Wasn't mentioned) Simmer until the peaches are soft and mixture caramelized. Okey, I guess I should have used a larger pan and placed the peaches in with the sugar mix. Missed that instruction. Oh, it wasn't mentioned.
Anyway, I muddled my way through it and it turned pretty good, even though I missed doing a few steps.
This is only meant to be constructive criticism. I plan on rewriting the recipe in case I am ask for it.
