Summer, summer, summertime. Time to sit back and unwind.

 – Will Smith Summertime

My favorite season is Fall, but since having kids, I’ve come to look forward to lazy Summer days, filled with water balloon fights, afternoons in the pool and yummy summer treats like ice cream sandwiches and popsicles.  Today I’m sharing my favorite alcohol popsicle recipes.

What are boozy popsicles

alcohol popsicles also referred to as boozy, alcoholic, or adult popsicles are popsicles spiked with your favorite alcohol. They usually contain fruit and some sort of juice and liquor or wine. The flavor combinations are endless. You can basically make any of your favorite cocktails into an alcohol popsicle. Today I’m sharing alcohol popsicle recipes that include wine, vodka, and rum.

Alcohol popsicles near me

The last few times I dined out, I order drinks that came with popsicles and that got me thinking, these are so fun and cool (literally) I should make my own. Two of my favorite places in Dallas to get alcohol popsicles are The Rustic and Del Frisco’s Grille

Vodka Popsicle

Popsicle with vodka: Moscow Mule Popsicle

I created Moscow Mule pops because as I mentioned in this post, I was obsessed with frozen Moscow Mules while in Vegas. They are so light and refreshing.  A perfect combo for a popsicle.

Wine Popsicle

Berry Rose Popsicle

Of course, I had to include a wine option because I’m all about rose’ all day. These rose popsicles are fruity and refreshing. These wine popsicles would work with any light fruity wine. You can try them with Pino Griso

Popsicle with rum

I  included a rum popsicle just in case wine or vodka aren’t your thing. If you’re not into having herbs into your popsicle then leave out the basil. However, I think it gives another layer of flavor to these alcohol popsicles.

Strawberry Basil Popsicle

The lush red from the strawberries and the pops of green from the basil make these alcohol popsicles yummy and pretty. Definitely take a picture of these for the gram!

Best way to server your alcohol popsicle

Your popsicles can be enjoyed as is, or you can get fancy and serve them in a cocktail. If you’re only trying to do a lightweight turn-up you can serve them in a glass with sparkling water, your favorite lemon-lime soda, or juice.

Let me know in the comments or over on my Instagram which of these recipes is your favorite.
