5 DFW Brunch Spots for Celebrating with Your Girls

Searching for the best brunch spots in DFW to celebrate with your girls? Here are my 5 favorite Dallas-area restaurants for a girls' brunch — complete with mimosa ratings.

I have made it my personal mission to find the best brunch spots in DFW, and after many mimosas, many Eggs Benedicts, and more than a few long Saturday afternoons that turned into long Saturday evenings — these five restaurants are the ones I keep coming back to. Two of them (The Henry and Toulouse) I've visited numerous times. All five have earned their place on this list.

Whether you're planning something for National Women's Day on March 8th, a birthday brunch, a "we made it through the week" celebration, or just an excuse to get dressed up and sit down together — here's where to go.

    The Henry

2301 N Akard St, Dallas | Brunch Hours: Daily from 8 AM

The Henry is my personal pick for when you want brunch to feel like an event without anyone feeling overdressed or underdressed. It's the sweet spot — and the fact that it's open from 8 AM every single day makes it the most flexible spot on this list for group scheduling.

Here's what I love about The Henry for a girls' brunch: the menu is genuinely expansive. We're talking a full brunch spread that goes way beyond the standard eggs and toast — think crab cakes, short rib potstickers, the Korean prime skirt steak, Scottish salmon, and enough brunch cocktail options to keep your group happy from the first sip to the last. It's the kind of menu where everyone finds something to love, which matters when you're coordinating a group with different tastes and dietary needs.

The atmosphere is warm, buzzy, and celebratory without being so loud that you can't actually have a conversation. I've been here multiple times and the service has consistently been attentive and genuinely warm.

What to order: Short rib potstickers to start — non-negotiable. Korean prime skirt steak for your main if it's on the menu; it's one of the best things I've eaten at a Dallas brunch. Ask your server about the seasonal cocktail and trust them on it.

    The Woolworth

1520 Elm St #201, Dallas | Saturday Brunch From 10 AM (closed Sundays)

The Woolworth is genuinely special, and brunch here on a Saturday morning with your girls is an experience I want everyone to have at least once.

The Woolworth does Saturday brunch from 10 AM and the energy in that building from the moment you walk in is unlike anywhere else in Dallas. The views of downtown from the upper level are stunning — and in the spring when the light is good and the whether is at its best, it's the kind of setting that makes brunch feel like a full celebration even before the food arrives.

the brunch menu here is serious. The crab nachos are a must, full stop — they arrive and the whole table immediately gets it. The lobster grilled cheese is exactly as decadent as it sounds. And the Hula Pie for dessert is one of those "order it for the table to share" situations that always ends with someone wishing they'd ordered their own.

What makes The Woolworth exceptional for a girls' celebration specifically is how the staff treats special occasions. Multiple people in my circle have shown up here for birthdays and anniversaries and been surprised with complimentary desserts, champagne, and handwritten cards — with zero prompting. That kind of hospitality is rare, and it's a huge reason this place has the reputation it does. Mention your celebration when you book. They will show up for you.

Important note: The Woolworth is closed on Sundays, so Saturday brunch is your window. Book in advance — it fills up fast, especially on weekends in spring.

What to order: Crab nachos — the table appetizer that always disappears faster than expected. Lobster grilled cheese for your main. Hula Pie for dessert; get one for the table because everyone will want a bite. And of course, start with a mimosa.

    Toulouse Cafe and Bar

Legacy West - 7301 Windrose Ave., Plano, TX 75024 | Brunch: Sat & Sun from 9 AM

If you want brunch to feel like a mini trip to Paris — without leaving DFW — Toulouse is it. There is something about a French bistro that automatically makes a Saturday morning feel more intentional, more luxurious, more like you're actually celebrating something. That's exactly the energy you want for National Women's Day.

Toulouse opens for weekend brunch at 9 AM on Saturdays and Sundays, which is one of my favorite things about it — early enough to start your celebration before noon, late enough that you don't have to set an alarm you'll regret.

The brunch menu leans into classic French-inspired dishes done really thoughtfully. The soufflé is a full showstopper — order it at the start of your meal since it takes time, and watch your girls' faces when it arrives at the table. The lobster risotto is rich and gorgeous and exactly the kind of dish you order when you're celebrating. The cheesecake and the fresh bread with real butter are the details that make you feel genuinely taken care of.

One thing to note: Toulouse can get loud when it's packed inside, so if your group wants to be able to actually hear each other, aim for a patio seat or go earlier in the brunch service. The bar is also excellent — the espresso martini has a devoted following and makes a perfect way to end the meal on a high note.

This location has a separate private room if you are really trying to celebrate big and need a space to host an event.

What to Order: Crab Cake Benedicts or the French toast. Definitely get the Chanel No.6 or the Golden Affair, as they both have sparkling wine.

    The Glen Restaurant

    6655 Winning Dr, Frisco | Sunday Brunch11 AM – 3 PM

The Glen is for when you want the restaurant to celebrate with you. This is a full production — floral décor, aerial performances, cotton candy dessert arriving with a sparkler. If someone in your group deserves a dramatic brunch moment, The Glen is where you take her.

5 DFW Brunch Spots for Celebrating with Your Girls

The Glen: this is not a "casual Sunday brunch" situation. This is a destination. The interior is lush, floral, and elegant in a way that makes your camera roll look curated without any effort, and the whole experience is designed to feel like a special occasion from the moment you're seated. There is a phone both and area for photos. I celebrated my birthday here with my friends and the staff made it super special.

Sunday brunch at The Glen runs from 11 AM to 3 PM, and the menu is the kind of indulgent spread that earns its place at a celebration table. The steaks Oscar-style are described as some of the best in DFW. And then there's the cotton candy dessert — arriving in a giant martini glass with a sparkler — which is exactly the kind of moment that makes everyone at the table pull out their phones at the same time.

What to Order: Lobster rolls, mimosa bar - They bring it out with sparklers. The churros for dessert. Let everyone stare. You're celebrating — lean into it 😉

    Winsome Prime

331 Singleton Blvd, Dallas | Weekend Brunch Sat & Sun from 11 AM

Winsome Prime is the DFW brunch recommendation that always surprises people — in the best possible way. A 4.8 rating with over 1,500 reviews on Singleton Boulevard tells you everything: this place has a devoted following, and once you go, you'll understand exactly why. It's the kind of spot that makes you feel like you found a secret.

Winsome Prime does weekend brunch from 11 AM on Saturdays and Sundays, and the combination of elevated food, a sophisticated atmosphere, and live entertainment makes the whole experience feel celebratory by default — even before you mention that it's a special occasion. The staff here is exceptional: from the hostess to the general manager.

The brunch menu is creative and well-executed across the board. The crab beignets are a standout starter — light, crispy, and packed with flavor — and the Snapper Orleans is consistently described as the best dish on the table. The collard greens risotto is one of those unexpected menu items that sounds unusual until you taste it and then you're mentioning it in your review too. And the broiled oysters, if you're an oyster person, are not to be overlooked.

5 DFW Brunch Spots for Celebrating with Your Girls

On the drinks side: yes, I always order a mimosa, but I would be doing you a disservice if I didn't put the lemon drop front and center.

What to order: Crab beignets to start or the spinach dip — the table will thank you. Snapper Orleans for your main.

Before You Book your special occasion brunch: My Brunch Tips

From someone who has done this many, many times

    • Always mention the occasion when you book. Every single one of these restaurants responds to celebrations — sometimes with a surprise dessert, sometimes with champagne, sometimes with a sparkler and a crowd. You don't have to ask for anything. Just say you're celebrating. Let them take it from there.
    • Brunch on March 8th (National Women's Day) is a weekday this year — which actually works in your favor. Easier reservations, a more relaxed pace, and the whole afternoon still ahead of you. The Henry is open from 8 AM every day; Winsome Prime has happy hour from 4–7 PM if you want an evening option.
    • Start with a mimosa. Always. I know this is obvious given the name of this blog, but I'm saying it anyway. Every single one of these brunch spots does a lovely mimosa. Start there. Adjust the rest of the order around it.
    • DFW spring patios are not guaranteed. Check the forecast the day before and have an indoor backup plan. Texas spring weather is beautiful right until it isn't.
    • Make a reservation, not a wish. These spots fill up — especially on Saturdays in spring and for any holiday. Book in advance. Your future self who gets to walk in without a wait will be very grateful. My go to booking app for reservations is Open Table.

Here's what I've learned from years of brunch reviews in DFW: the meal is almost always great. But the best brunch experiences — the ones you're still talking about three Saturdays later — happen when the setting, the company, and the occasion all align. These five restaurants give you the setting. You've already got the company. Now you just need the occasion.

National Women's Day is March 8th. Spring is here. Your girls are waiting for someone to send a group text and make a plan. That someone is you. Go make the reservation.

    And order the mimosa. Obviously.

    — Cheers from your favorite brunch enthusiast 🥂
